Scholarship Application

Who is eligible

Applicants Must:

• Have a current active membership at SPJST Lodge 88

• Be a full-time student and hold an active SPJST insurance certificate and/or annuity for the duration of the scholarship

• Be a high school graduate or equivalent Attend an accredited two- or four- year college, university, or technical college- as designated by one of the six regional accrediting bodies in the United States

  General Scholarship recipients may only receive ONE General Scholarship.

Dates to remember

February 28, 2024: Application must be submitted online

May 2024: Scholarship winners will be notified and invited to the May 12th, 2024 monthly meeting at Lodge 88, introduced to the membership, and presented your scholarship certificate

SCholarship application checklist

• Application must be fully completed and electronically signed by due date

• Applicant local dues paid for current year

• If awarded a scholarship, attend the May 12, 2024 monthly meeting at Lodge 88.

• If awarded a scholarship, send a copy of your proof of enrollment with the complete address of the school of your choice to Carol Havemann at carolhavemann@yahoo.com. A check will be mailed directly to the college/university after the August 2024 monthly meeting.
